Cindy Greer"Life is a journey full of ups and downs. Throughout that journey there are times when we feel stuck, overwhelmed, alone or lost. I offer collaborative counseling that can help you empower yourself to work through life's challenges. I work closely with my clients in a number of areas such as: depression, anxiety, low self esteem, trauma, grief and loss issues, coping with life transitions and challenges such as illness or divorce; parenting, blending families and issues of step-parenting, improving self-esteem, relationships and satisfaction with one’s life.

My counseling approach is strength-based and client-centered, compassionate, warm, supportive and nonjudgmental. I engage my clients in an authentic, friendly and honest manner while honoring that each and every one of us has a unique story to share that includes past, present and future. Throughout the helping process we will work closely together to identify problems as well as solutions while drawing from Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Solution Focused and Narrative Therapies and Family Systems Theories to assist in the process.

Our therapeutic relationship and the safety it creates is the foundation to exploring your personal story, thoughts and behaviors and gaining insight, skills to problem solve and integrate in order to meet your goals and make lasting change."
